My Professional Experience

In 2021, during my engineering degree, I started tinkering with data and automation — writing small scripts, joining bootcamps, and gradually moving toward tools that actually made workflows faster for me and others.

This took me to CommVersion in 2022, where I worked with real-time data and NLP models — experimenting, failing, and learning how theory often breaks in production. Around the same time, I co-authored a Springer-published paper on homograph language identification in mixed-lingual text.

By late 2024, while pursuing my master’s degree, I joined Paraza — first as a Data Science Intern and later as a full-time Data Scientist. My focus has been streamlining processes, building internal platforms, and reducing operational friction. From databases and pipelines to dashboards and system transitions, my goal has stayed the same: expose bottlenecks, then create durable solutions to fix them.

Outside of code, I’ve led cycling trips with the Dalhousie Bike Centre, volunteered with PMI Nova Scotia, and earlier, as a Placement Coordinator, helped match students with companies.
